I have a question for those who have painted their fender flares. Do they get chipped up and scratched easily? I haven't looked for gravel bite on mine, but they're already scratched pretty good. It's hard to imagine that paint would hold up on such a soft substrate. I guess if you paint them black, chips wouldn't be obvious, but any light color seems like it would not look good for long. What's your real-world experience?
I prefer the contrast on most colors but I don't mind the paint to match flaress and bumpers on lead foot. I don't care for the metal flake on the bumpers and flares with the gloss primer grey body. I think matte black bumpers and flares would look good.
