Matte paint has no clearcoat to protect the paint and would be a horrible choice for a truck stick with the wrap

There's no way moisture will get under the wrap. A wrap is basically a vinyl sticker that is installed via a heat gun.

Simply put wraps will protect the paint. For example a clear bra on the hood is basically a wrap.

School us - why the need to change it? Will moisture or dirt work it's way under?

What are the long term effects to the clear/paint?

I'm really happy with the Xpel Stealth wrap on my truck. It's a film that is clear with a satin finish.

I am really happy with my xpel wrap. It saved my truck paint big time at Havoc in the Hills. I would recommend it. I wrapped pretty much my entire truck in the stuff.
