I had the fenders, bumpers and skid plate painted this week. Happy with how it turned out, but think that some colors look great with the OEM fenders and bumpers. I was going for the full blackout look and decided to paint this one. Also had a light smoke on tail lights and fender marker lights. The project continues! r.jpgrr.jpg

It seems the plastic Gen3 Fender Flares are a bit rougher in texture than the aluminum body panels? Would love to see some pictures of how a Body Shop finishes them up...especially for $100.00 a piece??!!
Seems like you would have to pop them all off to do it correctly. Also not sure if painting them would make the Truck look more like a standard F-150.
Pictures below show our entire Truck covered with Xpel Stealth. We found that the Fender Flares are extremely difficult to cover with PPF and the Installer refuses to do another Raptor with them.

They would sand and clean them just like any other body panel and of course they would need to be removed. It’s only a few clips holding in each one so not a big task.

Since the Raptor is based on the F150 so I’m sure it looks like one before and after painted fenders.
