Hey Guys,
I've had a Pace Edwards Jack Rabbit tonneau installed for about two week now and I just did my first off-road trails this weekend so I wanted to make a note about how it help up.

For the most part, it did ok but it kept slipping from the fully closed position and latching on the first open position (about 12 inches open). I'd keep closing it and as soon as I hit some rough terrain, it would pop back open. I think the rails were just a bit too far apart for the latch to really bite so I threw in a spacer that came with the kit on each side about halfway through the day and it didn't pop open any more after that.

It was obviously quite dusty in the bed since it kept popping open but now that its fixed, I'll see how clean it keeps things on the next run. I added a tailgate seal too so I'm hoping it keeps it pretty clean in there.

Just a heads up for anyone also running that cover.

I have a cover like yours and I also had that problem. You have to space it with the spacers and look at the latches when it is fully closed. You will notice the latches stick out pretty far but if the sides are not adjusted right the lid will move side to side and bypass the latch and then open up like you experienced. Sounds like you figured that out.
My experience is that some dust will still get in. One area is the corners of the bed in front and in the back. You can look and put silicone in the cracks but remember that you do want water to be able to drain if you get any in there.
Your dammed if you do and dammed if you don't kind of thing.
Good luck.

I find that the best way to reduce dust in the bed is to open the tonneau while driving on dusty roads. The problem when closed is that the air is calm and it allows the dust to settle (even with a seal you will still get dust). If you leave the cover open then the dust isn't able to settle in the bed.
