Overlanding racks, whatcha got

Hey all, just as the title says, what types of overlanding racks are you running, what are your pros/cons etc? Currently looking at something like the Hooke Road rack-

I had my CBI cab height rack delivered yesterday. Got it off the pallet, but that's as far as I have gotten.

On my I’m running the 10 inch kb voodoo aluminum max modular with the tonneau cover brackets and for tonneau cover I got the bak revolver x4s fully loaded it does sag the rear down with factory leafs I did order some deavers back in June which finally showed up and will be going on next week… as far as pros the rack looks good is light weight was easy to install and I’m able to still roll up the tonneau over the height keeps the cvt tent down below roof so have never had an issue really with wind noise.. con’s really only the height really limits what accessories you can use from kb voodoo and what you can mount. Thinking of going taller to solve that issue, that would probably start causing wind noise..

The is the Leitner Active Cargo System Classic model. I just got one this year for my truck.

TRUSS rack by UpTop Overland. It weighs 36lbs and is pre-slotted for accessories like Rotopax, quickfists, maxtraxx, etc.

Options for mounting and can even mount to Retrax XR Pro t-slot system. Also have three different heights to choose from. I chose mid-height rather than full-height which would put it at the roofline. This way the RTT wasn't riding as high and was more aerodynamical and didn't have wind catching underneath it to make a lot of noise. I can also store stuff on top of the tonneau cover and under the rack and lash/tie it in.

Because of this being the lightest rack on the market; was compatible with the Retrax; and height options - this was the rack for me.

I have the front runner load bars on a diamondback cover. Keeps the top of my rtt level with the roof of the truck. Then i have the builtright racks to help organize inside the bed, back seat, & console

Running the Front Runner SlimlineII with the bed rack mounting kit. Have an Ultragroove Metal tonneau under it. Definitely going to go with upgraded Deaver leaf kit (+3’s I think). Truck had RPG mid-perch on the front when I bought it … the combo of all that weight out back and lifted front makes for some Carolina Squat when we head load up for camping.

Pluses - Front Runner ecosystem is very full (tons of accessories). Lower height profile helps some with mpg vs higher racks. Good cassette tonneau means weather protection and no interference opening/closing with the rack/tent on.

Minuses - side mounting options are limited/nonexistent (rack is a little too close to the tonneau to fit most accessories). Tent eats up most of the flat surface of the Slimline … but underside storage is still available. Overall weight is pretty high when loaded up for camp.
