Welcome svt!

And +1 on those pics. Awesome! I'm very interested in learning more about the Raptor as an expedition vehicle.

I talked to my contact at Overland Journal and here is his response:

It looks like he doesn't have enough content to do a full Raptor review. This sucks, because I know it would be really popular.
Do you know anyone who would be able to loan us a Raptor that we could do a review on? Or at least use on a trip and have as a feature vehicle? I haven't been very successful getting connections with Ford.

Any takers?

maybe they could go on the pre-run with the raptor expeditions crew's latest route?

That should be a good few days of trail time with it.

They should come out to the Texas Raptor Run!! Should have a few Raptors to choose from. One thing is for sure... It will be well documented!

I have been a long time fan of OJ, I show it to everyone half interested in camping. Quality articles, photography and printing/paper. Great gift idea!

I'm totally into extending my trip to do an expo type of thing with them if they would prefer a dedicated trip. Where are they based out of?

While I think they would enjoy the Texas Run, I don't think they would get what they are looking for to put into an article, but I will mention it.

They are based out of Prescott, AZ. I will let my contact know and see what we can put together!

Hey Big J... dig your Overland write-up... I agree, good stuff... thats the kind of riding my friends and I are into... I got a d90 that I take on trips, but I needed something bigger and a better daily driver (love my baby though)... so I took a gamble and went with the Raptor I'm kinda using it as a hybrid Street/Overland rig, so I look to you for mods. You should check out my friends website (not selling anything) Central Overland he has some pretty good write-ups and it kinda gives you the idea of the riding we do here in the South-Central area... enjoy!

ups, :peace:
