Given the option to have a 6.2L in the Gen 2, I’d be curious to see how many Gen 2 owners would opt for it. On the contrary, if you asked Gen 1 owners if they would want the Ecoboost V6 in their Gen 1, I think all you would hear are crickets. To each their own. The guy wanted a Gen 1. Congrats dude.

Turbos are not that complicated! I dont know why everyone is so scared of them. If u bought a raptor to tow, well u bought the wrong truck flat out! The suspension is not engineered for towing. Mechanics labor is more than half the price so of course it'd be expensive. Do your own work so u know it's done right..the turbo is a little metal fan that doesn't just go out . Maybe the oil servo might be problematic, just dont ignore your oil changes and use good oil on top of that. Watch the eco boost torture test. That thing took a beating and was still in spec, or at least they made it look that way..lol

Go ask any Ford Tech and they will tell you outright, the 6.2 is more reliable and easier to work on, than the twin hair dryers.
