saturday i ordered my 2012 raptor. ordered it full loaded minus the blue interior and the bed graphic(because i dont know what they look like)

well i went back to my dealer after seeing the back graphic's and the blue interior and had them add it to my order. so now i have a 2012 blue flame raptor with everything coming to me soon. any body know when they are going to start building them?

That is what everyone keeps saying.

I placed my order (was accepted into the system and unscheduled / clean) on the 16th. I have someone tracking it for me. I am chomping at the bit, but I need to sell my Mustang 1st anyways. With the cold weather, this thing has really come to life, I am going to miss it .........but the Raptor will fill the void that it leaves

Once they start building them, whats the ETA to the dealer? Will customers see their new trucks in December?

I think it depends on a lot of things. Could be as early as end of November, but if Ford were to put a hold on them for whatever reason then they may ship later. I remember all too well when I ordered my 2010 the hold that Ford put on them, with NO ETA.....that sucked! If everything goes well I could see people driving around in November in them. I perfect case scenario for me would be seeing it the week of Thanksgiving, then I could go home for a day or so since I would be half way there. Though, I will very happy if I have it by Christmas, since I have a lot of traveling to do. Going from NC to MO (1000 miles), MO to OH (670 miles), OH to MI (670 miles) and then MI to NC (1200 miles).......and I really want the Raptor for this

Of course, it matters on your priority as well and how your dealer handles your order.

I think the schedule last year was 1-2 weeks prior to build date you receive your VIN number. Once built it takes 2-3 weeks for transportation. So if this schedule is correct then you could see it as early as late November.
