Order Placed for 2021/22 with 35s (originally 37 package, but no allocations... I cry)!

Hello all! First time poster.

Just got my order placed for the 21/22 Raptor. Snagged the second of 2 allocations for my dealer. Weirdly, they just straight up said the 37 package was "out of stock" but went ahead and placed the order to be filled when it could be. Looking more and more like a dealer allocation issue based on what I'm seeing here... don't want to be waiting for a "maybe we'll get another allocation" situation....

In any event, new to the offroad world entirely, just always wanted a Raptor and finally have the chance to pick one up (wife gave permission ).

I'll be perusing the forums here, but any tips, additional equipment to order, etc. I should be thinking about as an utter noob (before I reserve a spot on a Baja Raptor Run or something...)?

Congrats on the order and welcome to the forum. I ordered a 37 Pack last Friday. Hopefully I'll get it sooner than later, but I'm in it for the long haul if I have to wait.

Congrats - I just got my order in for a 37 pack this afternoon too! Pretty stoked, but also trying not to get my hopes up due to the long wait... It was strange, the dealer wasn't even familiar with the 37 pack option. They had two Raptor allocations and we spec'd and it seemed to go through.

Ended up dropping the original order and taking their other 35" package allocation. Not looking to wait forever, and I wasn't 100% sold on the blue interior and extra size anyway. Maybe I'll graduate to the 37s for my next Raptor when I want to take up rock crawling or something (or just trade this one for an R next year... ‍).

Raptors are only made in Dearborn and they only have enough parts for a limited number of 37 Seems they can make more 35” based on Ford allocations and statements on this forum among others. This is supposed to be a limited run 21.5 run so they can make only so many and we should see them by aug sep.

Congrats, make sure you sign up for the Raptor Assault school after you get your truck. It is really enjoyable and is a great intro into the capabilities of the truck.
