Order date and build?

I am looking to own my first pickup truck Raptor gen3. I've ordered many vehicles in the past but I am very unfamiliar with fords process. How long has your order been taking also if you could share your build/price? This would help a lot. Many dealers still charging over MSRP.

I have two options
- Purchase a used Raptor for 87k with 1300 miles. (og msrp 81k)

If you placed a new order right now, I don't think any of our experiences would match, as most here have roll-over 2022s or 2023s we ordered very early when the banks opened. Our price is exactly what it says on the Build section of Ford.com, and our mark-ups, if any, vary greatly. If you want it sooner, get one that's about to land or already available. If you don't want to pay 5 figure mark ups, be prepared to search and either drive the truck a while or have it shipped.

Ordered on the day the banks opened (new 23, not a roll-over 22), blend 12/15, built 12/28, shipped 1/1, dealer ETA 1/16. Obviously, that could change. Seems like ordered trucks are trickling in.

Did your dealer confirm to you they actually have an allocation? This late in the game I would be surprised if there were many unspoken for.

FYI for raptors dealers can take infinite orders but ford tells them before orders start how many trucks they will be getting for the year.

My Raptor R order was confirmed on 7/21, went into production on 12/14, was built on 12/29 and was shipped last Saturday 1/7.
