Looks like power numbers won't change

Mildly surprising, but I guess it doesn't matter from Ford's perspective.

An extra 20 HP isn't going to stop anyone who wants a V8 from buying a TRX, and it isn't going to win them any new business from other segments.

They are content to let the Raptor stand alone for now, and then compete directly with the TRX via the R next year (or whenever it arrives).

First time Raptor buyer and have never driven a Gen 2. But 450 HP sounds pretty solid for a truck. Seems like alot of folks complaining about the current HP. Does the Gen 2 feel under powered? Or I'm I missing something.
I feel Ford will be filling the void for the folks that want more Horse power with the R. So why mess with the current motor that has already been proven. Just my humble opinion.

I suspect that they can't and still meet emissions. Moving more torque down low may give a small performance boost. That's where you want torque. Many of the people complaining are driving ***** protheses to the mall. Others expect a huge jump in performance because that's what happened in 2017. Some people just like to complain. A few might actually use the horsepower for something other than not impressing EV drivers at stoplights, but they'll need to upgrade the suspension first. Gen 2 is well-balanced, and if you don't mind pissing on your warranty, you can get a significant bump with a tune. A tune and a few mods, and you can get quite a lot more. If I was Raptorless, I'd have no qualms about buying gen 3. I'm thinking I'll buy one after the mig-gen refresh in two years, probably MY2024. Even if the engine specs don't change at all by then I'd buy one with the heavier tires and not worry about performance.

Nah, if you want to work for a big corporation these days and you're a white male, you have to be woke. And you have to signal it vigorously or you could lose your job. Besides, even if he identifies as a Black female, which is allowed, s/t/he/ey looks like a white male. Best to hide that behind a mask.
Yeah if you’re a white male you have to be a complete beta cuck or they’ll toss you.
