When I started this thread in the beginning of September I had no idea what I would end up with at the end of the day. Kinda funny that when I origianlly posted, I was actually planning on doing the DIY Herculiner paint in liner!! LOL

This thread turned into a great reference tool and certainly helped me make my mind up. Thanks for all the comments, pics and suggestions from you guys.

I ended up going with the Bedrug, Retrax One and a Swing Case.

My truck was just build last Thursday and I could get a caLL ANYDAY NOW, so I will certainly post plenty of install pics when ready.

I can offer these inital comments on the above items;

1) Bedrug. Very sweet! I took it out of the box so it can start to get back in shape. It comes all rolled up and was probably in the box for a while. After a few days in a warm house, All the wrinkles/creases are gone. I already put all the velco tabs on it, so the rest of the install should literally take 15 minutes. I really like the color, texture and cushy nature of the bedrug. Made in the USA. I paid $380 shipped.

2) Retrax. Just took a few parts out of the box so far, but this thing is made top notch/top quality. Read the instructions and appears to be a very easy install too. Cant wait to get it on. 6 screws and 4 clamps, thats it, no drilling. I paid $1,050 shipped.

3) Swing Case. If you have an extra $200 laying around, get one of these things. Top quality and the intall again only looks like a 15 minute job. 6 self tapping screws and thats it. Great idea and IMO, it takes up only dead space anyway, so its perfect for carring up to 50 lbs of my hunting/camping stuff. They also make one for the passenger side if you need it. I got the driver side version. I paid $190 shipped.

I have figured out my plan for the order of the install so everything comes out perfect.

Sitting in garage just waiting:

Bedrug
Retrax
Swing Case
Magnaflow Exhaust
Airaid CAI
Window vent visors
V1 with blendmount and invisicord
Stubby antenna
5 star tuner (ordered)

Just waiting for the phone to ring from the dealership!!!!!!!! :peace:

You will love bedrug, I have little doubt. I don't think the swing case fits with a bed extender.

Looks great. Did you use the velcro supplied with the Bedrug or did you buy the heavy duty velcro as suggested by someone earlier in this thread or maybe it was another thread.

Thanks for the update.

SaintsFan, from what I've read, it is my understanding that the BedRug's supplied velcro or hook and fasteners are already heavy duty and high quality. I think someone recommended to buy more if either you wanted to secure it even more or if you were taking an old BedRug and putting it on a different truck.
