That's what I average, but one day I'll screw that up & put 37" tires on & will be averaging probably 11 mpg.... That's the way I roll.

with 37" isn't your final drive ratio actual lower. Or is it the rotating mass that brings it down?

I'm sure its the rotating mass that effects the mpgs. Those tires are heavy.

I don't have a tune, but I know the stealership can adjust the tire daimater and about every tune I have seen in past has the capability as well. When I ran 37"s on 09 F250 the dealership changed the tire diameter reading in the ECM for me.

All the "tune in a box" tuners,Diablo,SCT do have the speedometer calibrator for tires. You just need to make sure from the manufacturer. The custom tunes will customize your tune however you want it.

Nice long road trip

Just finished our 4700 mile drive back to Alaska in our new Screw and we averaged 14.6, with about 1/2 the trip running about 65 and the other half around 80. I was pretty happy with this, since the first 1000 miles or so, the mileages was in the 13's. I think the mileage definitely improved as the motor settled in some...

This is an awesome drive that everyone should do at least once in their lifetime!!
