4100 mile trip from Chicago and back 10.7 average for the whole trip. Roof basket really kills it.

Beating the shit out of it, I was at 17.6mpg... driving like a normal person, 23.7mpg. Have yet to get it out on the highway and drive it at 75-80 to see what it gets.

I had a higher average of 15.7 MPG with many back-road drives where I was stuck at 65MPH and you cruise Route 66, not hammer it down!

Once we got back in to AZ when the 66 and 40 merge mileage started to drop. CA was mostly highway and the 13.6 MPG took a toll on the average.

I must have missed out on something here. When did FRF turn in to DB-BMW????
