GEN 2 ? On forscan changes for installed kicker subwoofer

Hello all I just recently bought a new 2018 supercrew 801a truck with out subwoofer. I ordered the factory kicker sub and installed it a few days ago. Ended up swinging by local dealer on getting it setup and they had no idea on what needed to be done. So at this point I’ve ordered the forscan cable and amazon and hoping to get it working today. Can anyone tell me exactly what I need to change or due in forscan? If you could include the values needing to be changed that would be even better. All help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

i have to by for scan and do this if i want to add a amp and sub? I am in the same boat, with small radio,, its ok, well it sucks to be hones

Great thanks!! I’m curious so is it necessary to disable fake engine noise before? Also I have a crew cab with 7 speaker system does that mean I’d Also change to “crew cab w/7 speakers and kicker sound”?

Forscan is free you will need to buy the OBD device or find a member who would be willing to help you out
