I love my Lightning Blue, and ordered it exactly how I wanted it. Around here I rarely see LB Raptors, but seem to see Lead Foot all the time. You can't go wrong with either though.

The lead foot will show swirl marks, skuffs, and dirt just as bad as black will. My favorite color is the lightning blue, but I settled for silver since I got a really good deal on a used one in my area. Silver is probably my second favorite color and the same as my f450. I like it because it doesn’t show dirt that bad, almost like white, since I live down a gravel road I can’t keep a vehicle clean. Also the silver doesn’t show blemishes much so easier upkeep. When I went to look at a lead foot the salesman that sold me my f450, as soon as he found out I didn’t like the color, he told me his wife had an F150 with that color and he hated it because it was so hard to keep looking nice.

Lead Food will certainly show swirls and scratches. That said, having owned several black vehicles in the past, and currently living with a Lead Food Raptor, it is certainly not just as bad as black. It's not even close TBH. Beyond that, a dirty leadfood looks a lot better than a dirty black.

The blue has $2000 in stickers vs the leadfoot has $1800 in forged wheels. If you buy the blue, the bead lock capable wheels that you want sell for $1000-$1500 on the forums. If you buy the leadfoot, and want the graphics, you can but the graphics for about $200 on eBay or amazon.

I actually have a 2018 on order (build week is next week) because of the Leadfoot color. Planned on getting a 2019 but when LF was no longer an option decided to get the 2018.

You can always add the stickers or wheels after you buy the truck (or go aftermarket wheels for a different look).

As far as resale value goes, buy the truck color that you like, not the one that you hope may sell for a few extra bucks down the road.

North side by the airport. There is a guy in my neighborhood that bought a lighting blue 18 6mo after I got mine, so that makes 3 of us in Jax. Lol

Hell yeah! Most of my previous cars have been blue, so Lightning Blue made sense. I love the color, and I’ve only seen a couple others on the road. I’ll probably see ya around eventually :).

I just want to know what tint is on the truck in the initial pic of the thread. Looks SHARP.
