I found a Lead Foot at a great deal and I put down a deposit. The color is so different in person and I love how it's not a common color at all.

However, I just stumbled upon a Lightning Blue at a great deal which was my original favorite color. I love how the blue contrasts with the gray wheel wells and front end black and gray colors. Plus, this one has the full graphics package...which *I think I prefer. However, no bead locks...so I'll have to look to buy them in the future, hopefully used. I'm also worried I may get tired of the blue since it's not such a typical color.

I need y'alls input so I can decide by today.

Lead Foot: exclusive, may hold value better since it's limited to 2018, looks different depending on lighting, more aggressive and mean looking, not as much contrast in the coloring

Lightning Blue: I always loved that color since Gen 1, a little more flashy and more a common color (esp among regular F-150's), may not be as desired in the future, makes the truck more "toy like" (obviously still aggressive), I have a feeling it will show dirt, rain, and swirls more....not sure.

Thanks again for any feedback and for helping me decide. In the end, I know I'll be very happy since I've been wanting this truck since the first gen Raptor was released.

My choice was between Black and Lead Foot, I chose Black because, black.
Second choice was Lead Foot for sure.

I vote Lead Foot for you. It looks super good when it's polished up and glossy.

The leadfoot is a cool color, never been a fan of the blue myself though. Whats the package options on them? Or are you deciding on color only? Also theres a lot of stock ford beadlocks for sale on here so getting a pair of those will be pretty easy

Options are identical, except Lead Foot has bead locks and no stickers.

Blue has aluminum alloys and both stickers.

I kinda go back and forth on the stickers. I think they look cool, but I worry if they will hold up over the years. Especially since she’ll unfortunately have to be parked outside. Wonder if they’ll start to fade or crack.

Just bought a 2018 Lightning Blue. Both Leadfoot and Lightning are being discontinued for 2019. So if you’re looking for 2019 colors, you’ll want to see the list.

A lot of sales people were telling me that Lightning Blue wasn’t very popular due to resale reasons. It’s not a neutral color and people will either really like it or don’t care for it. I personally love it!

How does the blue seem to hold up with dirt, rain, smudges, etc? I’ve always had black and am done with that color.

I heard the Lead Foot hardly shows anything.

This is a big factor for me because it will have to be outdoors.

Thanks

The lead foot will show swirl marks, skuffs, and dirt just as bad as black will. My favorite color is the lightning blue, but I settled for silver since I got a really good deal on a used one in my area. Silver is probably my second favorite color and the same as my f450. I like it because it doesn’t show dirt that bad, almost like white, since I live down a gravel road I can’t keep a vehicle clean. Also the silver doesn’t show blemishes much so easier upkeep. When I went to look at a lead foot the salesman that sold me my f450, as soon as he found out I didn’t like the color, he told me his wife had an F150 with that color and he hated it because it was so hard to keep looking nice.

I’m not sure. Only had it for 2 weeks. Wife drove over something that left the side of the truck splattered in white road paint. I decided to take it through a car wash (I know..) before the road paint baked in and then pressure washed the rest of it off. No swirls on the paint. The shiney black plastic trims on the doors had swirl marks, but that’s common.
