Been eyeing the Morimoto XB LED w/ Amber DRL even before I bought the Raptor.

Cheapest I can find them new is around $1200, 10% off with Black Friday deals. Not impressed.

They pop up every now and then on Facebook/Ebay. Somewhere around $800-$900. They don't last long.

Went through a rabbit hole and found these. They're made by OLM. Virtually no differences. Comes in at $849, 35% off their regular price.

A Reddit user on r/WRX noticed VLAND/Morimoto/OLM being identical, at different prices. On the F-150 forums, a user ordered from OLM and received a product that looked identical to the Morimotos and was able to install them just fine, just had to use instructions online as the OLMs did not come with any documentation.

A Morimoto representative replied to them in email saying, "They are made in the same factory, but the warranty on the Morimoto is much longer than other listings you will find."

Good enough for me. Part number is:

Part Number: OLME.16015.2

I went ahead and placed an order. OLM sells it directly, but I bought it from Alligator Performance, Stage3 also sells it.

Will update once they arrive.

I just checked, and surprise surprise, these lights happen to have the same warranty as the Morimotos (5-year limited). Makes the 35% price difference even stranger.

Sounds like it's a no-brainer to get the OLM's then. I figured if maybe the warranty was only like a year or something then sure, I get the price markup for the 5 year warranty, but not in this case. There's a lot of thoughts that Morimoto is gonna go down the tube along with Wheel Pros.

Oh wow that's news to me, sad to hear, I think when it comes to trucks, they have some of the best looking headlights / taillights that really modernize your truck.

My order was updated with a tracking number today, says it should arrive to me by December 4. Will follow the Morimoto's instructions assuming they won't include them, and post pics. To my knowledge, no one has documented the 09-14 F-150 Amber DRLs, so will be interesting to see what differences we can find.

Let's play spot the difference.

Arrived in an absolute unit of a box. Very well packed. Each headlight was in its own box heavily padded.

Added closeups of numbers.

Documentation includes:
- Wiring instructions
- Greasing instructions
- Sequential instructions
- Info on condensation

No hardware installation instructions. Will reference Morimotos.

Curious to hear if any Morimoto owners can spot any differences, if any.

I would say besides the markings and numbers, they look the same.
Installation was exactly the same thankfully. Pretty straightforward. Spent most of my time putting dielectric grease on the connectors, cable managing, and trying to decrease the fitment gap. Seems like the previous owner replace the headlights or had custom headlights at one point.

Will look for a warehouse building to shine my lights at so I can properly adjust the headlights. Those Amber DRLs are bright! Already got a compliment.
