And the “final” amp rack product. The cat5e cable for remote bass control is wound up and not yet ran, and USB cable is out for tuning, which is happening currently.
I set this up for both Optical & RCA. I can confirm Optical is very clean but volume @30 isn’t as loud as I expected. Seems like RCA’s have the potential to go louder but have yet to explore much.

damn, the wiring makes my OCD happy
What is the Orange on the wires by the ZEN?
Where did you ground the system?
I've been told that on these trucks it is recommended to run the ground to the battery and that NAV TV requires the Zen to be grounded to the battery.
After looking back at the photos, I think its the light from the ZEN. It looked like an orange stain on the wires/carpet, but it's just how the light looks. Not sure I’m following the part about orange wires. The power wires have red heat shrink on the ends. Otherwise in a couple of the pics when the Zen is on, the LED from the Zen might be what you’re seeing appearing to be orange on top of the wires?
After checking ground resistance, I had incredibly low resistance to the ground point on the back cab wall so I utilized that first. Thinking I could always run back to the battery or run a second ground run if needed. My voltage drop from playing a 50hz sine wave was right around 0.1v (comparing battery to distribution block).
I read the warnings in the Zen manual about grounding to battery & also powering from the same source as the amps (mine is powered by factory plug) and I have not had any isssues with the Zen.
