Anybody wanna tell me how you're uploading these? USB isn't recognizing them....

Sent from my iPhone using Forum Runner

I put the graphic on an SD card, then put it into the SD card reader (the thin slot, where the navigation card goes).

I had to try two USB Flash drives to get it to work. The first was a cheapo "freebie" drive that was not recognized. The second was my 4GB sandisk that I keep all of my in-car MP3s on. Not only did it work fine for the MP3s, but it worked for reading the background images.

I have a Blue Flame, so here is what I was rocking:

...although I'm going to try a few that I've seen in this thread and see if I like them better :)

I need this in white.

What program is everyone using to modify their pictures? Or is it a website?

I use GIMP. It's a free photoshop like editing program. It's not nearly as sophisticated as photoshop. But it's pretty good. And just google search for how to use it when you need help doing certain things.

Here are a few of the backgrounds I created quickly. These are all using photoshop. I did download a MFT template, but its not necessary. The reason I downloaded it, was so that I could see how the images looked on the computer before uploading them to the truck. For placement, etc. I will try and get that file uploaded for you.

Ok, so the FRF won't allow me to upload the MFT template. So i uploaded to my Adobe site, not sure if you can download it or not. Lemme know.

For Photoshop Users:
This file is a .psd it will only work with Adobe Photoshop. The only reason I used the .psd file is so that i don't have to back and forth to the truck when I am uploading them if the font doesn't line up, etc. I have included my wallpapers with this file. Just delete them.

Sky's MFT Template

If you dont have Photoshop:
If you don't have photoshop you can still resize any photo you have or snag off the internet. All jpgs must be 800x384 Its a weird size, but the MFT will not accept anything different, it won't resize your file either.
