Making progress, but no ETA yet.
Hoping you have something by mid July. We have an Outer Banks trip and those extra ponies would be nice.
A quick question as to how we “tune” the truck….do we (the customer) tell you what mods we have and you upload the tune into some type of handheld tuner and ship it to us.

The Accessport ships with all of our OTS maps pre-loaded. You will be responsible when installing for selecting the correct Stage and octane version that is appropriate for your truck. If/when you have any questions about parts compatibility, you can reference our Map Notes page (linked below) or shoot us a message to our customer support team.

Apologies if I missed it, but do we have confirmation that the coolant reservoir cover, shroud and bracket fit the '23s?

For folks up in WA that only have 92oct I assume the options are only 91 or 93 for the pre-loaded tunes in which case we would choose the 91 tune?

Yup, you'll want to select the 91 OCT map when running 92 OCT fuel. You can always run a map designed for lower octane than the fuel you're using, but never the opposite!

Here you go. I believe the original shroud was held in via the plastic bumper clips, and I totally missed the bolts circled. It fit fine and was pretty secure regardless, but had to fix it knowing I did it wrong. I also had to get new plastic clips after redoing it, so please learn from my mistake :)

This could be just a bad picture but it also looks like the left side air intake is using a push connection rather than the 4mm hex bolt??

I installed my Gen 3 COBB radiator shroud and intake scoop bracket. A few pieces of advice. Maybe I missed this stuff in the directions, or maybe it just simply needs to be added.

  • Plan on drilling out the left side 4 mm intake scoop bracket hole for the bolt. If you are just installing the bracket and not the shroud, then you may not have to, but the shroud blocks finger access and the bracket is just slightly off. Hopefully COBB is coming out with a v2 of this that has the hole in the correct position for future sales.
  • You have to position the bottom air intake bracket and then the shroud goes on second. I started with the shroud and got it all bolted down, only to find out I don't have access to the intake bottom mounting bracket.
  • My mounting bracket said the Allen key was included in the box, but it was not in there.
  • Have a good set of trim removal tools. I learned this years ago on my jeep and had a nice set ready to go for this installation.
  • To reattach the air intake to the box, it is easiest to remove the top as if you were replacing the air filter. This gives you slightly more access to the 8 mm bolt.
  • Don't over torque the four 8 mm bolts as they will just keep spinning on you. I knew when to stop, but just pointing that out for others. They will get snug but won't stop spinning, especially if you are using a 3/8 drive.
  • Use a 1/4" drive for the installation. You won't over torque and space it limited.
  • I found much better success with a ratcheting combo wrench for the air intake to air box 8 mm.

My air intake is not sitting perfectly flush now. Is this an issue or installation error? I see some that are perfectly flush and others that sit up slightly higher like mine. I have a 22, so I didn't have the recall on intake, but you can see the difference in the pictures I have included. Happy with the product and hopefully this helps others.
