The forums note a gearshift selector as the issue in previous YM Raptors and Lightings with similar symptoms. We'll see.Soooooooo………..The truck has started throwing a Powertrain Malfunction Alert.

You mean like this? It’s just the cover on the back of the fob. Assuming you already have a raptor, switch them out when you trade.
*****Update***** Ok was at the dealer this morning at 6am. They got right on it when they opened. The tech said it was throwing a shift sensor code that has to do with the folding shifter inside the truck. Apparently this is a known issue especially with 22/23's. It appears to be a lingering issue that is holding over on 24/25's as well. Mine is so new he says he likely can't get parts just yet. Told me to drive it but said the truck will most likely continue throwing the code and resolve itself each time (which it did three times this morning). It will likely need to be replaced when parts are available. As usual they want to see it in distress even though I had a video of the warnings, etc. The tech told me if I had it configured to communicate data back to Ford they'd be aware so a replacement w/o the code thrown in their presence should be feasible.Headed over to the local dealership in the morning to see if the can grab some codes. I have the equipment but want them to have the first shot at it since I have less than 40 hours on the engine.
