Thanks, my CoDriver John climbed up in the back of a truck to get that shot! I was just glad he did not slip off the tool box in the bed and bust his ass LOL.

for those that had totes in the back did they work to keep stuff dry? that is my plan for the sdrr.

for what its worth, I have a Rubbermaid Action Packer in the back of my truck. cheap, think i paid $40 on sale at lowes in the US) sturdy enough to stand on. lockable, and although it doesn't look/feel like it would be weatherproof, I haven't had any snow, or moisture get in mine. and its had 1' of snow on it that melted yesterday, and still nothing inside.

its not 100% secure though, so if you want something people cant break into, dont get one.

i just used some flat iron with holes in it, self tapping screws and washers.

not something you would want to do on a raptor. but since its just a ranger, and its pretty beat up i wasnt worried about doing it that way.

If you want something that is fairly secure(can be locked but is still plastic) sturdy and water/weather proof look at Pelican or Storm cases. They're not super cheap but awesome.
