You are tight that they are not making anymore Gen2s. I think the point might be that the Gen3 will have a few more attractive options that would make it instantly more desirable than a Gen 2. The Gen1 will always be a value machine though. Those were tanks.

I would agree with this - get in a super duty (lease), and wait for the gen3... or go TRX. All good options to get the most out of the Gen2 before it loses more value.

Buying at MSRP is fine, but don't plan on that increasing in value anytime soon. These $90k - $100k cars will be in the $60k - $70k range over the next 2-3yrs.

I don’t expect it to increase. But if I can snag one for around $70k new and have it for a year, I just want it to hold its value with little to no depreciation.

Trade it for a new GT500. I already saw one at my local dealer sell for MSRP. Not a bad daily since you already have a truck. I'd personally move to an F250.
Well I’m on the fence. Not sure if anything out there I’m interested in right now. I have over 20k in equity in the truck right now. Only put 1k miles on it since I bought it. I have my other truck also in the garage. I could just buy a car don’t really need to have 2 trucks. I work from at home so don’t drive allot. I just put leather seats in to make it a little nicer. I’ll think about it some more.

sounds like not a smart purchase to begin with

I had to buy something quick at the time family matter. I didn’t want a 20 f-150 because the new ones where coming out. Your right though I should have looked at something else. I think I’ll find something that fits me better.

I would shop around. I got $62k for my no option 800a back in September - before the supply shortage.

Considering I paid $54.5k it made more sense. Are you happy with it? Just know a year from now an 800a definitely won’t be a $60k+ truck..

I do like the truck just can’t see me off roading here much in Ga. I sure not going to wait long to get out of it if I do.
