New 2017 ROC adventures are now up for the whole year on the ROC Page.



Road Adventure Drives



The official name of the ROC Run you want is "Salton Sea Adventure" and it's on April 7th and 8th. I've seen the trial maps and it looks like fun!



I'd like to invite you out for the pre-run but we do this very quickly and spend a lot of time with taking notes and testing. It's more work than fun



Seriously though, come out to the April run. You will have a blast in your new Raptor and there are many people who want to see a "Jenny2" out on the trails! You will be one of the first to do so!

I think I'll be there!

I haven't yet. I haven't put too many miles on the truck and will still be in the break in period. I'm not sure it's a good idea to take it down there... what do you think?
Also, it would be my first experience in the desert with it so I'm a little hesitant. Rookie problems..haha

If you are over 1k I wouldn't worry about it. Don't know the break-in time for the '17 Raptor so I would take a look at the manual on that.

As for experience we welcome both those who have not been off-road and those who have experience. We know everyone has to start somewhere.

We just finished the pre-run and I saw nothing on the trails that would be a serious worry for even first time off-roaders. Remember, this is not a race. The goal is everyone goes home at the end

There will be plenty more events if you can't make this one but if you are on the fence, don't let a first time out stop you.
