Anyone ever find a way to get an offroad GPS to feed in to the stock console display?
I am happy to say I have the NavTv installed but taking it up a notch, I would like something similar LOWRANCE or even a cheap Garmin GPS feeding in to the stock touch screen for the off-road wandering.

you would need a nav unit that has a video out. from there you can get a video input for the nav tv or use the center consoleav

Maybe it's because I'm tired but I'm failing to see why the display would need a video out..

The aftermarket off-road NAV unit would be the one needing the video out so you can feed that to the NAV-TV unit to display on the factory console.

So an iPad with gps and an av cable would work and be displayed on the stock screen while in motion with Nav TV, right? I like that idea better than mounting an iPad. Only downfall would be no music, right? Or I guess you could play music through that iPad while also running the Nav app?

So I can listen to my iPod connected through the USB and watch my aftermarket Nav connected through the av inputs at the same time even though they are 2 different media sources?
