Do you do anything special to keep them clean? I considered Rappy Graphics, but I'm concerned since I don't really know what caused the issue.

Nothing special. My truck is black, so I always hand wash. I do hit them periodically with Lucas Slick Mist while I'm wiping down the rest of the truck. One year of use and they still look like the day I put them on. I replaced my Factory hood graphic on my 2011 Raptor. It appeared to dry rot and crack across its entirety. What a pain to remove, as it came off in a million little pieces. It seemed to me that the factory graphic was thinner than the stripes I received from Rappy G.

Update

Just wanted to share for future users, the spots began to fade on their own, but I decided to have the decals removed anyway. The quality of the OEM decals is really poor (especially for $900!). After seeing them removed, I'd definitely recommend going with an aftermarket solutions as Ford's vinyl is garbage.

I've attached a picture of the spots and the decal after removal for anyone who has this issue in the future. However, if you do get spots, give it a few weeks of sun and heat from the engine and see if they fade out on their own (and don't mess with it until then).

Sorry to hear!
I absolutely love the Hood Graphics on white 2013. They are not perfect but neither is a 4 year old truck! The hood and side graphics really makes the white truck set apart from the rest!

Are the G1 hood graphics the same faux carbon fiber look? My G1 didn't have decals, so can't really speak to that.

Either way, my point isn't about the look (which I liked), but that Ford uses poor quality vinyl and wouldn't warranty it in my case.

No they were not. They were solid black vinyl. Here's a pic of my Rappy G hood stripes. Like I said earlier, they are almost 1 yr old. Took this shot this evening.

Looks good! I'm happy without them now, but might consider Rappy in the future.
