most auto manufacturers dont sell wires. they will sell you the whole harness, but not individual wires

Not really agreeing on that one. I would have to say that Ford is the exception to the rule. In my 25+ years of modding cars, this is the first manufacturer that I have found that doesn't provide repair wires.

Another plan is to find out who OEM's the connectors. The advantage with most European vehicles is the connectors are manufactured by AMP.

So good news... Ford DOES offer repair wires with the correct pins on the ends. The problem is Ford doesn't appear to have a cross-reference to go from connector to wires. I'll do some legwork and figure out what wires are needed.

I was also lucky enough to also get all the AS BUILT codes for my car and for a 2014 F-150 Platinum.

Just a quick review of the APIM module coding shows only 9 Bytes are different between the two configurations.

We are making progress.......

Sorry I forgot to check on those parts for you. I can get you all the part numbers for the connectors with repair wire pigtails, wire schematics, and pinouts... basically everything you need. Send me a PM tomorrow morning to remind me.

Connector - C329 (Male) Harness 4401, connects to center console: Pins 34,35,36,47

Connector - C329 (Female) Harness 14B079, connects to center console: Pins 34,35,36,47

Connector - C3133 (Male) Harness 14B079, connects to ambient lighting harness: Pins 2,4,5,8

Well it turns out there's only a service pigtail available for connector 3133.

Awesome! So it appears that all we need to acquire is the correct pins and I can quickly adapt the Raptor center Console harness to address the wires needed for the Ambient lights. That gets us closer... Now we need to determine the correct wire ends to install on the dash side of the wiring harness up to the ETAC Module.

Do you have any detailed information on accessing the ETAC module? Looking at the wiring placement I would put it behind the MyTouch screen.

Most likely you'll need to remove the IP center stack and LCD screen, but it'd try removing the tray that sits on the top of the IP where the center channel speaker is (if equipped) first and see if you can access the EATC module connector through there. That will be much easier.

NOTE: It appears that the EATC module has three connectors plugged into it (C228 A, B, and C), so that should help find what you're looking for.
