Would you guys be interested in one more camp out in the beginning of April before it gets hot??????

I would so be down for this. So jealous of the great time you guys had. Wish I could have been there, but I guess the beaches of Maui will have to suffice for the time.Being :)

Noah,

I didn't get everyone's location but I expect that the closest person is one or two hours away from the park in San Diego or Temecula, which I guess is relatively close by bay area standards. If you want to store it really close then the Blu Inn RV Park has storage for a $65/month fee. It's just a few miles east of where we camped this past weekend.

No, I think it's a big open sand lot basically. It might not even be fenced in. The owners assured me that it's secure when I inquired and they've never had a theft. If you do choose to store there I'd cover the trailer tightly with a tarp and chain/cable/lock the vehicles down just for peace of mind. Even with the tarp, if a sand storm like the one that blew threw on our first day out (Friday the 28th of Feb.) you'd probably have some sandy vehicles to clean up when you take the trailer out of storage. This is exactly why I don't keep my trailer out there during the froading season.

The storage lot is in the SE corner of the pic I'm fairly sure. That's San Filipe Wash running N/S just to the west.
