BUNMAN-Adventures, Rescue & Recovery
Another one of Zion's Iconic Hikes.
About 10 years ago, the Trail Up from the Valley Floor, starting at Weeping Rock was blocked by a Rock Slide The rock slide also blocked the Trail to Hidden Canyon, another Beautiful hike.
The OP Tail can still be accessed via the East Rim Trail.
Driving to what I call "The Observation Point Cheaters Trail" can be difficult in anything but dry weather. Your Raptor and a set or two of MaxTrax is a good idea.
I will post pictures from both routes to OP.
May be someday the Park service can dedicate some assets to opening the OP Trail instead of being Trail Gestapo, checking permits for Angels Landing!?!? No Offense of course
