Hey all. Matt here from Colorado. Since it's basically my turn on a new vehicle and I've put about 140k miles on my explorer, I got permission from the wife to get my dream truck...the Raptor...she even gave me permission to not settle and get exactly what I want. But, knowing my luck, exactly what I want may not be available anymore (supercrew, black on black with nav).

But, I'm keeping my hopes up and at the least I found this cool forum.

Have a presence in South Jersey and Dixie as well, so I'm keeping my eyes and ears open in those locales too.

Anyway, glad to 'meet' y'all and thanks for the virtual welcomes.

Well that was quick and I'm happy!!!

A couple of days ago, I decided to pull the trigger on the raptor, but I wanted very specific options. Thanks to this forum, I learned very quickly that the options I wanted were no longer available and I would have to luck up with dealer stock.

Well, I lucked up. Here I am a few days later and I just took possession on my 2011 SCREW. I had to drive a day to get it and I'll have to drive a day back home tomorrow, but at least the drive will be in my new TRUCK!! And, it's across Texas, New Mexico and Colorado so I bet I can accidentally find some trails to explore on the way.

Black on Black with Nav and moonroof. I've only put 11 miles on it and I already need to change my pants. Please don't tell my wife about my mistress...
