I don't have any radios... I am getting some motorolla's for next month.

Make sure you bring your recovery straps & if anyone has one a comealong. One slip off the packed snow into a roadside ditch can make for a lousy day. Dont ask how I know this, but having a Jeep with a winch along made things a lot better.

I got you! I have a 33,000 lb capacity snatch strap plus MB has a strap as well. We should be fine.

I've have an Icom handheld as well that you can use for both the Lost Coast runs. So, if you want save your money for a VHF unit. Trepal has a deal over in the garage sale area for a handheld unit or a mounted unit. Plus, I think Nos is going to become a Icom dealer soon so you could probably pick one up from him. I know we'll probably be using VHF for the Nevada run since our group will be more spread out.

i think so. im heading up tomorrow night after work. just going to sleep in my truck and be ready for saturday. i hate spending money for a room when i get there so late at night. i figure play all day head back to my shop and sleep there saturday night, since i have to be there in the morning anyways

i also have a couple walkie talkies. still waiting on icom vendor status so no radio yet. but with 4 of us i think we will be close enough together to work fine.

I'm in for Saturday! My wife is going to ride with me and be my copilot. I'm down for meeting you guys in Vacaville. At least tomorrow I will have time to wash the dirt and salt of the truck from the last couple days in Tahoe. Nothing better than getting a clean truck dirty.
