Or if we go further right after the cross town freeway we can take the south East Lodi off 99 there is a mickey D's that's pretty clean... Puts us there about 8:30AM and if I guess right Puddle you can shoot across Hwy 12 to Lodi from the 5 side and catch us there....

I'll meet you wherever, you're the caravan, I'm just jumping in partway through the trip. Name the time and place, and I'll be there...although McD's wouldn't be bad. I'm sure the kid would like some hash browns.

For those who may notice, there is a prescribed burn notice on the Prairie City park site. I spoke to the CalFire contact and a state parks contact.

This should not impact us. But......

The burn is scheduled May 28-31. If the weather and workload cooperate, they expect to be done on the 30th. But they are warning that it may extend into June.

The area being burned is the grassland immediately north of the 4x4 area.

If your sensitive to this sort of thing, come prepared; inhaler, mask what ever. I will.

I was just looking at the track on google. Looks like there is is a section on the south side that may allow for some speed. I hadn't noticed it when I drove around the track last week. I may just go check it out again tomorrow.

Great heads up on the burn notice cups. Did they say they would do burns on the weekend too?
