Very cool video. Looks like you guys are going to have a blast. If my truck was not going to be in So. Cal. for the month of April I would join you.

Bummer.

What's getting done? Full long travel build

After seeing you scraping along the embankment, I dunno ... ;-)

We won't be hitting that section of the route for that reason. It would take too long to get 10-12 trucks through there plus I don't want to risk damaging trucks.

Working toward that. Full weld in cage, front & rear bumpers and a wrap.

I've got some interesting news. I was doing a google search trying to get more info on Sherwood Road and when it might open. I came across the Mendecino fb page and found this:

"We open the gate in the April and May time frame. It all depends on the weather. If the weather has been terrible towards April we may not open the gate until May. We keep the gate closed to protect the road as long as possible."

I'm thinking maybe Icecobra or someone else who will be in Willits early, could drive up Sherwood Rd. to see if it's open Friday. We maybe able to keep this as part of the run if we get lucky. I also put in a message on their fb page asking for an update since the weather has been pretty good.

Can't wait to see it. Going to be bad *** for sure.

I did not think two layers of 14 steel with 1/2 inch high density insulation would be so hard to put together. But the hard wood floor makes it look great... The little Ice cream eater insisted Grandpa take her to have dinner on her birthday at Baskin Robbins, it was tough working on the trailer so hard to say no....
