Nice job MB!

aside from being the poop mobile Bigg50 is sure to get you stuck.

Can't wait to hear how the pre run goes with big and mb this weekend! Takes some pics and vid if you can...

We should have something for ya

I've been looking for additional trails to either prolong the main run or for Sunday depending how quickly we make it to Shelter Cove on the Pre Run. I found Mattole Beach Campground - Lost Coast
According to google maps, this is 2 hours north from Shelter Cove. In total google is estimating that it would take 7 hours to get there from Willits.

I'm guessing between stopping for lunch and stoping to take in the sites and Sinkyone beach we'd add another 2 hours to that. I'm hoping we'd be at a much faster pace than google is estimating. Assuming we can make up an hour- we'd be on the road a total of 8 hours. Putting us in at Mattole Beach camp ground at 5pm.

Here's general info on the campground:
Location: North end of King Range at the beach. U.S. 101 at Garberville, South Fork/Honeydew, or Ferndale exits. Follow signs toward Petrolia, turn on Lighthouse Road to ocean.
Facilities: 14 tent/trailer campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, vault toilets, no hookups. Potable water. Lost Coast Trailhead and parking area. Wheelchair accessible. No OHV access.
Use Fee: Camping - $8.00

Or....we could jump on the 101 North once we get into Shelter Cove and head up to Somoa Dunes and camp there. It's up near Eureka.
Here's more info.

I'm thinking MB and I can play it by ear and see if what's doable this weekend. My only other concern is that there are no reservations Mattole beach and I'd hate to role in with 10-15 trucks and not enough space for everyone.

For those that want 2 placards (if there are extra), just text or PM me. I have a list going. I don't plan on placing another order though. I think we will be close.
The week prior I can let you know.
