one of the biggest things that turbo guys do it upgrade their FMIC (Front mount Intercooler) - I'm wondering if this is just an adaption from the Ecoboost motors in previous years, but are there size differences with the Raptor? since the grille is a bit different...

This is the Full Race kit for the 2015+. The one you linked is for 2011-2014.

You're best bet would probably be to call Full Race and ask to make sure the intercooler size and piping aren't different compared to the normal 3.5 Ecoboost.

I would think a FMIC would be bad for a truck that actually goes offroad. Dust, rocks, mud, debris coming into the front.

But I can definitely foresee lots of street queens sporting FMICs...

Full Race makes a kit, which ADD is using for their winch-mount bumpers. The IC is supposed to move up in the process, so the Full Race IC allegedly fixes that. Unfortunately Full Race chose to be tools and not provide any data with their kit. So either I'm paying them in Monopoly money for their "kit" or they have some R&D data to get to explaining.
