Newbie Raptor owner from the UAE

Hi Everyone

I’ve just signed up to the forum after my first few weeks ownership of my late 2018 Raptor SuperCab in White. Got a great deal at the dealership for a top of the range unregistered model and didn’t fancy forking out the extra for a 2019.

This is my first truck and man what a rush!

As a British expat living out in the UAE I’ve generally stuck with the more typical sports cars and have been fortunate to have owned some cool ones - but this time I decided to try something different and get a car I can use to make the most of our time here in the desert...! and there was only one real contender!

I couldn’t be happier with my Raptor and look forward to some fun times! Already took it out for some mad 15psi dune bashing in Liwa Desert... what an amazing machine!

Thanks guys - tonneau cover (MX4), rigid lights and husky wheel liners coming next. Plus ford threw in a 2 cylinder air compressor so that needs to be fitted too! What else do people typically do without messing up the warranty...??

Re fuel prices - $0.59 per litre for super 98 (which is e only fuel I use!) and $0.57 for 95.
That’s peanuts compared to the UK but not sure how it compares to the US...?
