You can try car buying services like costco, consumer reports, NRA, some credit cards. They work.

I ordered mine thru a broker.

Bottom line is you don't have to play the dealer game.

Keep shopping.

Consumer reports sent me 3 deals. Two of said no won't do that. But one them said yes. I already had mine ordered so I didn't pursue it.

Even with my broker, the dealers salesman took my deposit and gave me the deal in writing. When the owner showed up the next day, he said no way. Before I got to upset I asked what the owner would accept. Turned out there was only a $700 difference. Wasn't worth arguing. Still came in about 1500 under msrp. Not great, but I got my truck ordered.

There are also many dealers who will work on the phone. Many are talked about here on this forum. Just call them and see what they say.

Being that I'm waiting to get one (have bigger fish to fry right now), I will be sure and check out all the dealerships and/or brokers in my area.

I'll continue to ask questions and learn as much as possible in the mean time....

i heard that their allocation is starting to catch up with them. if you order now it might not come for a few months. depending on your time frame, you should try to get on the list soon.

i should add, i have check all the dealerships in your area. (santa cruz county, parts of san benito county and north monterey county) all the dealers dont even come close to what morgan hill is offering.
