Hello, my name is Joe. Just bought a 2019 raptor, which is not only my first raptor but also my first truck! Needless to say, learning as much as I can but a little overwhelmed at times. Realizing I need to take baby steps before attempting big ones.
right now, my plan is to:
1) line-x premium bedliner and truck gear retractable bed cover
2) rough country fog lights, prob will pay dealer to install them (I have close to 0% experience with electrical/wiring work)
3) undercover swing case(s). My understanding is there are some questions related to durability, but I don’t plan on hardcore off-roading any time soon
4) mid perch mod vs RGB leveling kit (i may attempt this myself after ample learning/preparation)

open to criticism, and thanks! Glad to be here

Joe, looks like we’re going to need pictures before we move forward here. You know, just to make sure that it’s not a Prius.

Oh, welcome.

Good looking truck. Congrats! I think your going to like it. Many accessories and mods you can do to an already great truck. You can get a lot of good info here.

Skip #2 and get some quality lights, Rigid or Baja Designs. With basically plug and play harnesses available there is no need to pay the dealer to install lights. As for #4, the spring perch mod is not available with the live valve shocks, so you’re either looking at collars or coils. Eibach coils are popular with many here and lift the front 1.7” on a 2019. Either way you’re going to need an alignment afterwards, so you might as well get the coils over collars. On #3, I fail to see what the undercover cases can’t do that a milk crate could, but it’s your money. I’ve had hard tonneau covers on all my trucks going back to 2001. A piece of wood in the slots of the bed to keep crap from shifting forward or back and a plastic tote have always served me well.

thanks for the recommendation, rough country seemed like a good deal, but baja seems like the primo option for a reason! When I get to the point of revving cross country at night, I don’t want to regret goin cheap on the fog lights

I have the SwingCase and like it. Easy install and I'm glad I got one. I'm a fan or organization options that keep things in place and it serves that purpose much better than a milk crate.

Thanks for the reco . . . I just bought the passenger side one so I can still use the light button in the bed. This will come in handy for sure.
