Hello all, new Raptor owner here in Plano as of last night. I purchased a 2011 in blue, 2 door, loaded. I got rid of my GT500 as a trade off to appease the lady. I have had many off road toys over the years including a Grand Chrokee on 60's w/39's, multiple Jeep Wranglers long armed, FJ Cruiser, '72 Bronco, and a Hi-Lux.
I have to say that this truck blows me away in the ride quality department, it feels like a Caddy sitting on a cloud. I got the dealer to throw in a BakFlip bed cover to sweeten the deal bit, but so far that is my only mod. I plan to mount my 15# CO2 tank in the bed this week and probably put on a new exhaust to open this beastly motor up a bit.
I told my other half that I wouldnt mod this thing but we all know that is a lie so I am sure I will be scouring the boards looking for ideas on what to do next. I hope to meet some of the local Raptor owners so if you see me rolling around in the area wave me down.
