I purchased Method 17x8.5 0 offset with 315/70-17 BFG KO2's. Well I ordered the wheels and tires yesterday morning thinking I would raise it to mid perch last night after work. The perch mod was extremely easy but I ran into a frozen set screw and I fear the lower spring perch might be frozen as well. Problem is my Allen wrench just happen to break in the set screw and I can't get the broken piece out. I tried a couple things; magnet, super glue to see if I could pull it out, started to drill but it being hardened that went nowhere. So, I put it all back together. My truck has 80k mile and from the looks of it non rebuilt shocks. So new shocks/rebuilt is a future option, but not for awhile. From my calculations the new wheels will push the tires out ~1.34" and from the looks of it it'll be very close to the rear inner fender during full lock.

My main question will the wheel and tire combo above fit on bottom perch without rubbing?

I have ICON 3.0 shocks and pretty much on mid-perch. And ICON wheels at 6mm offset. Put on a new set of KO's and I rubbed at full lock.

I'm in the Detroit, MI area
I was just thinking if you can find someone in the area to get the mid perch done. Not sure who is in your area, though. Or put yourself in line with shock rebuilders and once your turn comes up you will get a new set with mid perch and other upgrades to your liking.
My thinking is you will be paying twice for some one to take your stuff off, just do it once. Here is the link

Thanks, I think I might go with this exchange route

With 80k miles no need to mid perch blown or leaking shocks anyway. Once you get the exchange set the way you want it, your truck will ride like new too. Good luck. And Paul is the guy that you would talk to.

You're only 4 hours from Joe in Steubenville Ohio. He owns the Phoenix track. If I were you I would mail them down to him as he is probably the closest. Or if it's your daily or have no place to leave it up on jack-stands for several days I'd take the short drive down some weekend and have him rebuild and set them to mid perch. Take a weekend and plan it around one of his open weekends to take it out around his trials to test it out afterwards.
He goes by @Scrap man on here

Well, I changed my order to 18x9 Method NV's +18mm offset with 35/12.5-18 BFG KO2's. Zero rubbing at full lock on lower perch. I'm also on the list to get my stock shocks rebuilt with: Stage 1, Mid Perch, Flutter Stack, and Schrader Valves.
