New well sort of.....

Hey guys,

I registered forever ago when I ordered a Raptor and introduced myself already, but figured I'd stop by with an update.

I ended up canceling the Raptor order to buy a house with my fiancé (spelling?) but then we parted ways so I ended up with no house / no Raptor... So I was sitting around one day playing video games or something unproductive when I realized I was a legit single guy and decided to go out on a whim and buy a Raptor....

I got to the dealership and they had two on the lot.. 1 being a 2010 SCAB for 42k and another being a 2013 SCREW for 64k...... well to make the story short I didn't want the 2010, and of course there were no rebates or any deal to be heard of for the 2013, So I ended up getting a 2013 FX-4 with Eco-boost... So I'll still troll the forum to learn some stuff about Ford trucks in general.. and oogle all the photo's you guys upload.

You're gonna regret not getting the raptor if you stick around here. Welcome back though and sorry your relationship didn't work out. Your dealer must've had a "market adjustment" on there to make it $64k.

Prices seemed high for Virginia. Did you check in dealers around the Beach or Richmond area?

I already kind of regret it.. I did after I saw the first Raptor on the highway.... and I'm in Ohio now... aren't many around from what I've heard.. but then again I've seen 2-3 since I bought the Fx-4

$64K? Damn! When I picked up my '11 Screw a few months ago at Washington Ford in PA they had a new '13 with what had to be every option for $57K and they would deal a little on it.

Look for me (white one) running around the oil field in Ohio. Carroll, Harrison, Noble, Guernsey counties, etc.
