@DeltaFox sorry to hear about the accident. I never noticed any break in smell or anything. I know it sucks, but at least you can eliminate that possibility I would think.

Make sure the band clamp connecting the exhaust to the resonator delete pipe is shit-house tight. I thought mine was tight as hell but it came loose and the whole exhaust fell off on the highway Saturday night LMAO. Sucker dragged behind my truck for a solid 10 miles hanging on by 1 hanger.

All of a sudden my exhaust got really loud and I could faintly hear *clink clinkclink clink clink* from behind the truck. It sounded badass with just the straight pipe but I had to crawl under my truck at the nearest gas station to rig it back up to get home.

It was snowing out at the time so the roads were coated with snow. The exhaust wasn't damaged at all.

Did any of you guys have a break in smell coming from yours? The only reason I ask is because I put mine on with the resonator delete and all that jazz and 40 miles later got rear ended, so I'm trying to make sure a wiring harness or something didn't get knocked loose back there or the spare didn't get shifted. I look under that **** but couldn't see anything but I have a slight burning rubber/plastic smell towards the back of my truck. My pissed off level is basically through the roof.

I would definitely do a thorough inspection. I had no burnt smell at all.

Looked under there today at work like a weirdo. I already get shit for being obsessed with my truck. Didn't see anything but the smell went away. So I guess it's good or my truck is gonna burn down.

I had a break in smell for about 40-50 miles and a few heat cycles. Snow and ice should of taken care of any oil from the mandrel bender on the exterior of the pipes

X's 2 on the exhaust falling off. Out tearing up some trails and all of a sudden 5 Harleys sound like they are coming from behind.

Oh damn. Guess it was a blessing in disguise that my muffler guy was having touble fitting the pipe into the stock clamp part, so I just told him to cut that shit off and weld.

I'm so happy with my exhaust that I'd say to weld that biotch up, I don't see changing anything for a long long time!

I just might. The small intermediate pipe then was pushed backwards and off both hangers buy some mud. Trail fixed it as best as I could, got home removed and cleaned the mud out and rehung it. Made sure those bolts were in good.

Yeah man, I knocked something loose under the truck while messing around off roading today too (not exhaust related). Guess that's just life in the fast lane!

I'd say to just weld that shit up. Won't have to worry about it. I also just cut my whole tip off right after it dumps behind the axle. Just one more thing to get in the way and get pushed up into the fender when having too much fun
