I just ordered one of these last week. Ships in a week. Already has a case that goes underwater and wifi video to my iPhone or iPad. Looks sweet.

$349 - comes with mounts and since you don't have to buy a case, cheaper too.

same resolution as the GoPro HD - 1080p and 170 degree field of view

I've been looking for a WiFi camera to connect to my iPad for over a year! Either they were too expensive (Cube) or low resolution (AiBall).

Anxious to see how this works Menerso!

Menerso, got any sample videos to share? Also, how's the WiFi working?

FYI, the Ion team claims to be working on a true iPad application and plans to have it out sometime this summer.

I took some videos but deleted them, it works slick. You can even set it to do a time lapse.

The wifi is strictly for viewing setting up the shot. You don't want to leave it on since it drains the battery

I've searched and haven't found it.....do they have a charging accessory similar to the one created for the Replay XD1080?

If the battery wasn't an issue, is the WiFi video displayed on your iOS device choppy?

I just answered my own question on power.....if the camera is mounted over the dash one can just run the USB cable to one of the USB ports on the console or even cleaner, go thru the top of the dash to the 2nd USB port behind the radio.
