Well, I paid $10k over sticker. I guess Inshohkd be grateful, as most are paying $15k over. I’m thinking I’ll grab my money back, should I consider the 37 in a year or so.
I'd consider shopping around. Definitely MSRP deals to be had or better. The first dealer I talked to tried to increase the price $5k over MSRP at the last minute. I bailed and they came crawling back saying they'd do it at MSRP. Ultimately, I went with a different dealer that was straight up and got it for MSRP with no problem.

Hmmm… I’m a little pissed now.

Yeah, some dealers are shady and greedy. Other's see the value in building a relationship that may result in future sales. I went with a dealer in a smaller town near me... the theory being that they rely more on relationship sales vs high volume/one off sales. Seems to have worked, but I'll let you know after the truck is in the driveway.

Same - small town dealer in Amish country. They seemed to value our relationship more than trying to swindle an extra 5k.. We'll see how friendly after financing negotiations haha

if thats all they are charging you then you paid msrp
Ok. I do recall me having to come in with a $10k check to place the order & it was explained that this was their only allocation for 2021, so they were poppin’ $10k over….but
Unless he agreed to pay $10k over that price...?
No sir. I recall the explanation was that this was their only allocation for 2021 and as a result they were going to offer vehicle for 10K over. This indicates that it would’ve otherwise been 70k, so I cool. It’s sorta coming back to me.
