Sorry that was autocorrect. Meant tuned. Probably tuned like that.

No worries. I guess it's always possible it's a certain tune, but it shouldn't be on there if the truck was CPO'd and sold as stock.

It certainly acts like it's computer triggered since there are no codes and it runs great except under full throttle. Gonna start researching tunes to see if I can figure anything out.

If it's a tune then it's on the ecu. Have you tried revving it in park/neautral to see if it stays at the same rpm? Or even staying at a lower rpm. If it does then it could be a tune. Probably someone who was messing with a sct or something. Idk just a theory.

Right, if it is tuned it would be on the ECU. I meant that if the truck went through as thorough an inspection as they like to advertise and then is sold as a stock vehicle with a warranty, the dealer should have confirmed that there is no tune. Do you know of any tunes for the Raptor that allow RPM limits? I'm not as familiar with the specifics of Raptor tuning choices as I am with other cars.

I'm not aware of any device that a dealer can put to see if it's tuned or not. Pretty much an programmer that allows for custom calibrations by hand.

Could it be Valet mode? Not sure if that limits power in addition to locking out the Nav/Sync screen.

Anything is possible. I've cleared the MyKey settings so the only way would be if there's a tune installed that I and the dealer didn't know about. I don't have a handheld tuner to verify though. Truck is at the dealer now and their powertrain specialist is going to start on it Monday. Fingers crossed it's an easy fix.

UPDATE: My local dealer found the solution. The good news is that it was something very very simple, the bad news is that I probably look like an idiot. There was a piece of foam that was wedged between the intake box and the fender that was restricting air intake and was choking the truck at high RPMs. Likely cause is that during the maintenance service and CPO inspection prior to my purchase the tech managed to leave something behind; likely while changing the air filter. Ultimately it turned out to be something simple, but it definitely had me worried. The truck sounds much better now and has a lot more power. Thanks for the help and suggestions!
