Only thing is why did the dealer require you to put a downpayment when u placed the order ? I know I didn't and I believe most members here didn't as well.

OP, Congrats on your order and welcome. My dealer required a $1000 deposit, some do and some do not.

I've never been asked to put money down on a vehicle purchase...although I have a good purchase history with my Ford dealers.

Not sure why they required a downpayment. The salesman told me they were going to order it with different options and I ASSUME they felt they may sit on the truck longer than the one they were going to order.

The wait is killing me...
