Just ordered wheels. Went with Fuel Mavericks instead of waiting for the novakanes. Went with a 18x9 1mm offset. Should stick out there just the perfect amount. The wheels look like this. I think these will look very sharp on my blue scab with black hood/side graphics.

These are 20s, not 18s... And the tires are 35s, not 36s like I'm going with. But this gives you an idea of what the wheels look like on Toyos.

those look great. i've been looking at that same tire for some time now. in the pics they look taller than i was expecting. i hope i can still fit in the garage when i install them. i have about 3 maybe 4" clearance on stock tires and mid perch so i should be ok. and once they are on and 3 tons pushing down on them should still have an inch to spare. i'm looking to go with method nv's in 18x9 with a +18 offset. they are also backordered at the moment though so if you're in a hurry to install might have to branch out from method and bmf.

keep us posted and post pics and updates on fit (rubbing, noise, wear, etc).

thanks in advance!

I would think you'll have plenty of clearance still from the garage. Technically the 36 inch tires should only raise your truck half and inch... (36-35=1, 1/2=.5). Definitely can tell a major difference tho... In person and even in the photos.

Might want to check around about going with the methods. I leaned away from them because I thought the +18 offset might not be far enough out to clear the much meatier tires. I ended up going with +1 just to be as safe as I can. Not sure tho you might be in good shape... Would love to see these on some methods!

I do think we'll both be pretty good height-ways with clearance. If guys are running 37s with stock fenders and just barely rubbing I would think we'd have quite a bit of clearance left with 35.7s!

These are definitely more like it... Really didnt think id be making this much of an upgrade height wise... At the very least 2 inches.

I ended up going with 18x9 fuel mavericks.

So far NO rubbing on the 36's, but haven't driven it more than 10 minutes. Looks awesome to me! Definitely can tell the tires are bigger!

Toyos are SLIGHTLY louder than my bfgs... They do seem to wander a little more on the road... But just a little. I'm guessing this is because of the weight. I can't tell a difference in acceleration... It's a truck... So I don't hotrod it much to even miss a half second off of 0-60... If its that much.

I love the 1mm offset. Definitely sets the truck off. I now know why the guys that run methods are so impressed with the change in the stance. And these stick out just a hair further because they are 9 inch wheels compared to 8.5.

Very pleased!

Wheels look sick. I'm planning to run those as well. Better choice than the Novakanes.

Thanks! I say go for it! I wasn't sure that I loved them until i got them on... but now im sure!

You know what size youre thinking? 17,18,20? I know that there is a metric size for both 18s (what I went with) and 20s in toyos that are close to 36s... just an FYI.

I'm probably gonna go with 20s. Love the look. Thanks for heads up on metric sizes. I'd love to run a 36 instead of a 35, but I'm concerned about rubbing.

ill keep you updated on rubbing. So far, so good. Guys with 37s rub a little... and with these tires I have (35.7 inches) I have a little more than half an inch extra room from the fender compared to 37s. I can't imagine I'll run into issues. Ill make sure to give you an update in about a week!

Screws look very good with 20s in my opinion... I think youll have one mean looking truck!
