The line-x isn't really going to do a whole lot to keep the bed much warmer. The bottom of the bedrug is so thick it provides a lot of insulation, and the sides you'd be better off with peel and stick insulation behind the bedrug over spray-in. Cost WAY cheaper, and the bedrug will stick better. I really don't see the bedrug velcro adhering well to line-x coating.

I see where your going, but the reason im line x the bed is because during the summer i will be taking the bed cap off and the rug and loading up my atv/ dirt bike. Plus during the summer i work construction to pay off for university lol, so the bed will be certainly used!!

a dirt bike, atv, or construction material isn't going to hurt a bedrug.

And I hope you either invest in lots of velcro, because it's either going to not want to stick at all to the line-x, or if it does stick, typically the bedrug velcro breaks when you pull it apart, it's THAT strong, so you'll be swapping in new pieces a lot of the time swapping the bedrug in and out.

Congrats and welcome. We both ordered exact same 2012. haha. PS-get both the line-x and rug...dont be a **** like some others on here might want you to be.

You dont want to have to second guess what to use the bed for...just get both......

I'm only getting Linex and F1 G2 on mine for starters installed @ dealer....then maybe a bed rug later. I also ordered the bed extender as well which will help keep small items in place in absense of the rug.

Thanks alot for the advice! I might not sticky tape the bed rug but velcro it? im sure it wont slide around. Im ordering my bed cap insulated so i thought the bedrug would be pretty insulating aswell.
Plus i dont really wanna preasure wash the hell out of the rug when i could just clean straight of the line x

the bedrug is secured with velcro. and you don't need to powerwash the bedrug to clean it. I've always just vacuumed it, or a little degreaser and a rag if I spilled any oil on it. It's more durable than you'd think.

Think about who you're getting the advice from. Guys who are saying buy both never even owned a bedrug before. Guys who have owned bedrugs are all saying don't even bother with the spray-in before the bed rug, you're wasting your money, you really don't need it.
