If this is for 2022 does that mean 2021 is last year for gen 2?

Or will 2020 be last year for gen 2 and no raptor for model year 2021?

If that’s the case and the fact that the Scab is angling away too then I gotta take the plunge now.

i look at it like this. 2021 will all be about the normal updated f150. Since we are swing spy shots of this new raptor with a ton of camo soon they will release it in 2022.

why release the raptor at the same time as the bronco and new f150. Wouldn’t make sense

I wouldn't worry about buying a first year gen3 either, if that is what you are waiting for. By the time the first gen 3 comes out, the issues if any with the new f150 would be solved anyway. So saying that, I wouldn't "overpay" for a 2020 model.

Not with a totally new nav system and e boost motor.

Is there a raptor specific nav system coming? Fill me in :)
You know what I mean. F series in general.

shit the sync system in my 19 still had bugs and how kind had it been out in that iteration?

indont think they really smothered the transmition until 19

You're probably right, I should of said, they would have some of the bugs out before the gen 3 raptor hits the pavement. Over all the Raptors are increasing in sales like hot cakes, wouldn't surprise me if they just became the norm eventually. Soon it will be suv's and large pick ups on the road and the odd car. In British Columbia, we only have until 2040 until 100% of every new passenger vehicle sold has to be electric.

Who else feels less than enthusiastic about modding their current Raptor because the upgrade may be occurring sooner than expected? ...

I agree with many that buying the beta models may be bad but if it comes out a year sooner, that’s still a year sooner that you might update (and hopefully it’s an upgrade), even if you wait a model year or two.

Kind of. But as you stated, it makes sense to wait or year or two before upgrading. As well, many mods can be removed and sold on the used market, especially mods that work on all F150s, not just Raptors. Some things, like lights, can probably be put on the new Raptor.

It will 100 percent be a 2022 model year

100%? No room for doubt? Even though the only statement from From has been that there will be a 2021 Raptor?
